🏃 Valentine Marathon
Registration is now open! Check your mailbox, follow us on Facebook, or visit valentinemarathon.com to sign up.
Race coordinator and founder Mark Gudgel is bringing his passion and energy to Valentine with a race for all ages and ability levels. Choose from distances ranging from 1 mile to an Ultra Marathon (approximately 32 miles). Serious runners will be excited to know the course is certified and includes a professional timing team—perfect for anyone looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon!
🛍️ Crazy Day
Also happening on August 2 is our annual Crazy Day, where local businesses go all out with sidewalk sales, indoor specials, tasty food, and refreshing drinks. It’s a great time to shop local and support your favorite stores.
Don’t forget to turn in those receipts! You’ll be automatically entered in the Chamber Bucks Receipt Raffle, with a chance to win up to $500 in Chamber Bucks!
🎨 Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest – Now in Year 2!
We’re bringing the Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest back with a few fun updates:

New this year: The artwork will be created under a large tent to provide shade from the summer sun.

Free registration and a basic chalk set will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own water-soluble chalk and pastels.

Winners in each age division will receive $5 in Chamber Bucks.
