Utilities work continues for the IN VALENTINE projects:

Please be advised that water service will be turned off on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 from 9 am to 1 pm to lower the water main piping. The areas
affected will be 3rd Street, between Cherry and Hall, both sides. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Midlands Contracting, Inc. will continue construction of the Storm Sewer at the intersection of 3rd & Main. The planned water shut off is to loop water mains under placement of Storm Sewer culverts. This work is necessary to complete the 3rd Street crossing Main Street intersection. Current planning has the 3rd & Main intersection to be paved first.
Work also continues on placement of Sanitary Sewer and service connections. Sanitary Sewer is first to be placed as it is the deepest. Some Water Main placement is expected next week at 3rd & Main working toward 2nd Street, this work is were Sanitary Sewer is in place.
Sodding is planned for businesses affected by the construction of the Cherry Street detour.
And always, Traffic Control is continued to be monitored, with planned speed limit signs on Cherry Street.
